Works and musical recordings Collections Catalog COMPIMEDIA are not free. The works are filed with the collecting societies of copyright including SACEM and are protected by Intellectual Property in France and abroad.

COMPIMEDIA has exclusive mandate for the management of works and recordings in the catalog COMPIMEDIA and its collections.
Therefore, you must obtain permission from all rights holders to exploit them.
This is one reason that led the company GESGLOB and BALCONY CONSULTANT FIRM to create the service COMPIMEDIA.
You will find below some examples of uses and the steps required to obtain permits.

The rates below are provided for information purposes. Each registration and / or collection may be subject to special conditions including pricing.

Production of a Film Institutional :

Existing music collections COMPIMEDIA is billed per minute of music used. You must also send a declaration to the MRSA (sacem.fr).

Each application is subject to clearance procedures performed by COMPIMEDIA. These formalities are charged 90 €.

Prices :

Original music : 50,17 € HT / minute

Public Domain music (classical, traditional) : 83,61 € HT / minute

Production of a Documentary :

You make a request prior authorization from COMPIMEDIA concerning human rights records and editorials. The fee is charged per minute and started recording. This fee delivers you the world TV rights and video sales and video (not SACEM-SDRM).

You must provide a detailed statement (cue-sheet or sheet of assembly) to the SACEM and the broadcasters concerned. NB: COMPIMEDIA assists you in the postponement of legal information on your cue sheet (title of the work used, its composers, the publisher of the work and the musical term used).

Original music :  75,25 € HT / minute 

Public Domain music (classical, traditional) :  125,42 € HT / minute

Production of long and short film :

You perform a synchronization application for authorization prior to COMPIMEDIA. This destination requires a contract established between the producer of the audiovisual work and COMPIMEDIA before the film's release.
Our fee is billed per minute initiated by registration.

Long film prices :

Original music : 459,87 € HT / minute

Public Domain music (classical, traditional) : 819,40 € HT / minute

Short film prices :

Original music : 292,64 € HT / minute

Public Domain music (classical, traditional) : 501,67 € HT / minute

Production of a Telefilm :

Our fee is charged per minute started.

Production of a TV ad / RADIO / CINEMA :

You must in all cases you pay for our approval before the date of first broadcast. The fee shall be based on your media plan, or the broadcaster (s) of the territories concerned. You are also responsible for the proper communication of works used to your sponsors (Agency, radio, cinema, etc. ...) so that they can report them to the SACEM.
NB: For the TV spots is imperative to provide us a copy of the spot on DVD for our deposits SACEM.

Illustration of a website / intranet :

You must pay a license from COMPIMEDIA under phonographic rights. The registration fee is calculated per year, we can offer you a flat fee if your site includes multiple records from our catalog.
The minimum charge is € 91.98 plus VAT per year for registration and original music.

Production of commercials FM / Radio / TV area :

We can offer contracts to suit your business as annual fee. Beware these agreements only cover rights records and do not excuse you from reporting your usage to the SACEM. Feel free to contact us for our conditions.

Production of a physical CD and / or virtual :

Need music for a existing DVD? Check Collections COMPIMEDIA or do you watch our team on 0825 67 27 10. Our fee is fixed according to the chosen directory, the number of titles and copies duplicated. Then you must pay mechanical royalties to the SDRM.

Producing a sound and light show / fireworks :

The show's producer will have to appear on the record the following information:
- The titles of Phonograms
- (S) and composer (s)
- Timing
- The editor

- Sponsor
- The location and day of show (City, State)
